Rowland Pizzey
The death of Rowland Pizzey, 110 Elgin Street, occurred this morning at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 58th year, following a long illness. Born in England, he came to Brantford 21 years ago and had resided here since that time. He was a member of the Anglican Church and also a member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Left to mourn his loss, besides his widow, are two sons, Rowland and George of this city, and two daughters, Mrs. Charles Strange, Brantford, and Mrs. Gordon Kew, Simcoe. His mother, a resident here, six brothers, George and Hewmin, England; Samuel and Joseph, Brantford; Robert, Windsor, and John, Australia, and three sisters, Mrs. C. Secord and Mrs. A.. Lefebvre, this city, and Mrs. H. Burtch, Eastwood, also survive. The funeral will be conducted Thursday with a service at St. Luke’s Anglican Church. Interment will be made in Mount Hope cemetery.

Rowland Pizzey
The funeral of Rowland Pizzey was conducted yesterday afternoon from the home, 110 Elgin Street, to St. Luke’s Anglican Church, where the service was in charge of Rev. F.W. Davis, who also conducted a short service at the home and officiated at the graveside. The deceased was a war veteran and at the graveside “Last Post,” was sounded by Bugler H. Porter of the Canadian Legion. There was a large attendance and a profusion of flowers, testifying to the esteem in which the deceased was held. Comrade E. Roberts, Comrade E. Stanbridge and Comrade G. Webb represented the Legion. The pallbearers were: D. Campbell, W. Welsh, A.B. Lee, I Denton, William Rickford and C. Secord.
