Thomas John Adams
Thomas J. Adams, 27 Herbert Street, died today in the Brantford General Hospital, in his 68th year. Born in Belfast, Ireland, he came 47 years ago to Brantford, where he had since resided. Mr. Adams served with the second division of the Canadian Army in the First World War. Surviving are a son Lindsay Adams, Brantford, and a daughter, Miss Helen Adams, Oakville. Mr. Adams is resting at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be conducted Thursday afternoon. Interment will be in the Soldiers’ Plot, Mount Hope Cemetery.

The funeral service for Thomas J. Adams was conducted Thursday afternoon at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home, by Rev. Leslie B. Jenkins, of St. James Anglican Church. Many relatives and friends attended the service and the profusion of flowers evinced the esteem in which the deceased was held. The pallbearers, all members of the Canadian Legion, under E.R. Edwards, were D. Monkman, A. Wright, G. Richwood, J. Lune, A. Sutton and G. Giles. Interment was in the Soldiers’ Plot, Mount Hope Cemetery.
