Mrs. Hession has received word that her husband, Corporal Thomas Hession, is in a British hospital, with shrapnel wounds in the face. He was blown out of the trenches. Corp. Hession was a member of the battalion which wintered at Barrie, and in which there were a number of Brantford men.

Official word in the form of a telegram was received in this city Saturday night by Corporal Hession’s wife to the effect that he had been wounded and admitted to hospital. This is the second time Corporal Thomas Hession has been wounded, he having only returned to the trenches since recovering from his first wounds. Corp. Hession was a valued employed of the Waterous Engine Works before his enlistment, and his many friends here hope for a speedy recovery.
