FERN – In the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, July 24, 1969, William R. Fern (retired Massey-Ferguson employee, member of Quarter Century Club, member of Grace Anglican Church, life honorary member and Twenty-Five Year Club member, Branch 90 Royal Canadian Legion, member Retirees Club Local 458) in his 79th year; beloved husband of Elva Roth, 15 Robertson Street; dear father of G. Wilfred of Scarborough, Mrs. Paul (Ruby) Marshall of Brantford; brother of George, Birmingham, England, Mrs. Lucy Sovereign of Rochester, New York; Mrs. John (Annie) Stewart of Cheshire, England, and the late Ellen Fern; also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  Resting at Hill and Robinson Limited, Funeral Home, Nelson and Queen Streets, from Saturday evening until Monday.  Service in the chapel at 2 p.m.  Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Rev. D.L. Parker, Grace Anglican Church will officiate.  Donations to the Heart Fund would be appreciated.
