William Alfred Unicombe
William A. Unicombe, husband of Fannie Mabel Vinall, died this morning in his sixty-first year. Mr. Unicombe attended St. James’ Anglican Church. He was a member of Reba Lodge, A.F. and A.M. and of the Canadian Legion. His widow, a son, Douglas Unicombe, at home, a daughter, Mrs. R. Cramp, England, three sisters, Mrs. Frank Pitts, Winnipeg, Mrs. Peter Smith, Victoria B.C. Mrs. Charles Skinner, England, and a brother, Herbert Unicombe, in England, survive. The deceased is resting at Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home, West Street. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

The funeral of William A. Unicombe was conducted from Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home, West Street, Saturday afternoon, to St. James’ Anglican Church, where service was held. The rector, Rev. R.W. Lane, was in charge of the service. Many friends were present to pay their last respects to a highly esteemed friend. The pallbearers were L. Tigwell, J. Woolsey, W. Jarvis, Edward Reeves, F. Butterworth, and P. Eadie. Interment was made in Mount Hope Cemetery. The Last Post was sounded by Bugler Jack Frost.
